Angela Gilchrist describes this Soul Art piece

This is an acrylic painting entitled “Enchanted Life” which I made during Soul Art Day several years ago. It’s an introspection on self-love as a foundation to empowering my life purpose. In a world where we may be met with discouragement sometimes, I hope to be that voice which can inspire others to see themselves as limitless beings. I truly believe we are only bound by our own imagination.

This Soul Art piece in Angela Gilchrist’s words…

“Untethered Soul” is an acrylic painting inspired by my shamanic journeys. It is the first in a series of 3 paintings and was actualized during Level 1 of my Soul Art Certification Program. I used the Soul Art process to help me capture my vision on canvas. This scene depicts the usual meeting place with my beloved spirit guide. From here we will either journey into the lower realms or the upper realms. I love that I begin each journey with zero expectations, which is normally not the case for me. I’m always surprised and delighted by the messages I get to bring back.

How Angela Gilchrist describes this Soul Art piece

This mixed media art entitled “Linger Dear Dreamer,” was created during Soul Art Day 2022. It’s a reminder that relaxation is an important part of my self-care. I knew I wanted to do mixed media on that particular day and excitedly prepared the night before. It’s reminiscent of dioramas I made as a child. Here I am in a state of peaceful slumber surrounded by the beauty and healing forces of nature. This work of art is dedicated to one of my mentors, Theresa Bates, who introduced me to this art form a few years prior.

Why Angela Gilchrist is in Soul Art School

I encountered Laura Hollick through another mentor of mine, Summer McStravick. Laura struck me as unique, bold, and a powerful visionary so I followed her back to Soul Art, participating in various creative rituals throughout the many years and never looked back. I eventually realized I wanted to dedicate even more time to being creative and return to my first love, art, knowing that this is what makes me happiest. I so enjoy connecting to our lovely community as well. Thank you Laura and the Soul Art team for birthing such a wonderful safe container for all of us to express ourselves, allow our inner child to play, and to continue to evolve from our life experiences.
