Oh, Soul Art Day 2022- such a welcome gift after 2 years of pause. I felt called to participate in this creative cauldron so lovingly created by Laura Hollick. I was yearning to connect with other human beings in a creative process of such scale. It felt like a homecoming. My Soul was giving me the pieces I needed to incorporate well before the actual workshop. Cutting out what felt like thousands of pieces, visited by my “Perfectionist” self as I was tuning into my intention I saw the frustration arising in me. There it was: I am lovingly guided through my frustrations.

All of my Invisible Support team gathered around me as I was immersing myself in the journey. In the end, all is well. I could see the Sacred Turtle Totem appear in this sea of Abundance. I felt lovingly held and connected even deeper to myself, Life, and others as I allowed myself to receive and give Love.

The Birth of The Conscious Self

Flowering splendor on the crest of a wave.
Memorable feelings are the star of the exhibitions.
Music and dance = Word Power
Money power is created within the womb.
This is your life book close to home…
Set the tone… Death celebration…
I celebrate the death of the old me
I celebrate the birth of the Conscious Self!

I am the storyteller of my life.
I am the rock that is bashed by the waves relentlessly, yet, I still stand strong.
I am the light shining through the thick forest to guide the ones in need.
I am the mare, which knows the best pastures and I am leading the herd (my people)
I am the talking points star as my vulnerability gives permission for others to do so freely.
I am the integration for the Split Self- I have called for it.
I am the unassailable base as I have worked tirelessly to become one.
I am the connection to unconditional love as I am the one finding the strength to experience it.
I am the nurture and water- life cannot exist without it.
I am the voice that is strong and clear.
I am the one doing the looking.
I am the thirsty one to explore more.
Multicolored squares are each drawer for creativity, integrated with memory, with feelings, with dialoguing with the mind.
The pieces of Self have been gathered dancing passionate dance with the shadows.

How Elica Johnson describes this Soul Art piece

This artwork was inspired by the Soul Art School Creative Entrepreneurship Workshop. My intention was to connect with the gifts, skills, and wisdom that are my unique blend. I wanted to power up my vision for celebrating Life and our connection with everything around us.

In the process, I uncovered forgotten printouts from my first unofficial exhibition. I’ve uncovered a beautiful crochet piece I have made many years ago. As I was tuning into the visible and invisible support around me the pull to embroider some of the elements grew stronger. Throughout the creation of this artwork, I was able to bring together a variety of my skills- my photography, crochet, embroidery, pattern whispers, and connecting the dots in the sea of everything.

When it was completed I could see the power generator that I am supported by my Rainbow Spinal Cord.
