The title ‘root to rise’ is a very helpful starting point. It is inspiring to connect with the earth (feet, buttocks as bodyparts) and during the creative process, opening up for the light within me.
How Ellen Faber describes this Soul Art piece
When I feel emotions the best way to deal with it is starting the creative process. It was during the pandemic periode 2021, feeling constricted and locked down, the shops were closed, I was not living at home so I did not have materials until I met somebody I could borrow a roll of paper from. So I laid down on the ground and drew my body as a landscape or as an escape from the restrictions.

During my art education I learned skills to make sculptures and beautiful forms . Feelings, poems and emotions were the fuel to create but in a hidden form.
In Soul Art School I allowed myself to express emotions more directly and freely. And to connect with Spirit and ask questions after the creative process about what I made.
