Gayla Moss Willows describes this Soul Art piece
Soul Art inspired me to create my first Bodymapping piece called “Mon Saule Chantant et Dansant” (My Singing & Dancing Willow Tree). My process was slow and deliberate as I let my intuition unfold over a 2 year period. Over time her essence shifted into an empowered goddess, and we shared sacred time dialoguing through movement, drumming, writing and art. My creative process has given me much healing and insight too!

This Soul Art piece in Gayla Moss Willows’s words…
This piece is called “Heart’s Protective Willow Tree.” Soul Art has taught me the language of symbols and how they can open doors for deep healing. This piece is based on past trauma. My intuitive creative process allowed me to integrate and transform on a deeper level.

How Gayla Moss Willows describes this Soul Art piece
In this piece called “Reaching Out,” Soul Art has taught me to listen to my body and tune into it. I used the Bodymapping process from Level 1 in the Soul Art Certification to explore pain I was having in my shoulder through art and writing. I gained new insight into what my pain was telling me and found ways to transform it with my creativity.

Why Gayla Moss Willows is in Soul Art School
I joined Soul Art so I could learn how to do Bodymapping and to feel part of an art community. Bodymapping felt like a good way to communicate with my body in a new way that would offer insights, grounding and dialoguing. I have learned to work on a bigger scale, trust my inner process, and learn from like minded Soul Art Sisters too.
