Jennifer Blumenthal describes this Soul Art piece

This piece was for my Solar Plexus class in the original Chakra level of the Soul Art Certification and is the piece that’s taken me the longest to finish (50 weeks) to date. While it started as my solar plexus assignment, it turned out to be a very important portal to help me process and release many layers of grief I had been holding. This piece helped me to understand how a “portal of transformation” (as I call it) works. In my experience, when you set an intention and enter a Soul Art journey, a portal of transformation is opened, and your art cannot be completed until everything that is in the way of that intention coming to fruition is healed or transformed. That was true for me and has been true ever since. Only once I processed that deep grief was I able to complete this project. Learning this took my work and my use of Soul Art to a higher frequency and now I help my clients understand and work with portals of transformation as well.

This Soul Art piece in Jennifer Blumenthal’s words…

I attended an Ascension Workshop at Soul Art Studio during which a deep wound was exposed. It was deeper and more painful than I realized. My Spirit Action from the workshop was to have a funeral ceremony for myself so that I could honor and release all that I used to be in order to be free to become my next level self. This piece of art was part of that funeral ceremony. I took all of the tickets, passes, newspaper articles, tags, notes, invitations, awards, + memorabilia from jr high + high school that I had saved, cut them all up and created new forms for them. After all, all of the experiences represented by that memorabilia is part of what has shaped me thus far. I expected it to be emotional and painful to cut all of these old pieces of me up, but it turned out to be joyful and cathartic! I hung this art, this new form of me, on the fence and conducted a funeral for myself where I wrote and read a eulogy and buried my pointe shoes in the ground surrounded by flower petals. It was a beautiful ceremony! The relief I felt from this ceremony was immense. I finally felt ready to move on and grow into my next level self. I cherish this process and honoring of myself!

How Jennifer Blumenthal describes this Soul Art piece

This piece was for my Core Star class in the Energy Mapping Level 2 of the Soul Art Certification. My intention for the Energy Mapping level is “I am a channel for light.” I love painting or wrapping sticks with colored string, but in this class, doing that became intentional AND required by my Soul. While creating this mobile was actually very simple, I hit a big roadblock when I had to get the drill out and drill holes in the wood so I could hang them on the mobile. I procrastinated for a long time because of this simple step I had to take… Until I realized that, in order to reach my next level, I had to DO what is necessary to create a path for the light to come through. In the Bodymapping level of the certification, all of my art was 2D (paint on a canvas), but it was during Energy Mapping that my art started wanting to be created in 3D to actually bring my creations to fruition with my own hands. I’ve made many 3D pieces since, and it has really helped me move through my challenges and create real things in the world. I’ve been able to take those lessons into all areas of my life and work.

Why Jennifer Blumenthal is in Soul Art School

I joined the Soul Art Certification in 2015 the moment I heard about it. I just *knew* it was the thing that my Soul needed. To this day, Soul Art continues to be one of the two most significant and life-changing things I have ever done for myself, my healing, my growth, and my business. It has helped me to understand myself in ways that I never imagined, and has become ingrained in everything I do for myself and with my clients because I know, from personal experience and witnessing it in others, that using Soul Art facilitates healing and transformation. Soul Art has significantly shaped who I am and I can’t imagine not having it in my life.
